Time: 26:31
Pace: 8:02 mile

COMMENTS:
According to my LA Roadrunners training regimen, was supposed to run 30 minutes today. Cut it short by 3:29, despite slowing it down from my normal pace in an attempt to keep with my Roadrunners pace group. Definitely need to work on pacing when I’m alone.

Felt good and evidently could have slowed it down even more; I got tired on the last leg and walked half a block. However, part of the need to walk was because I started getting slight stomach cramps, probably from hunger. I ate lunch at 2pm and ran at 5:15pm—probably too long of a wait for a run as long as this one.

For dinner: homemade healthy pizza and zucchini. And lots of water.

Are you hinting that my pizza and zucchini choice was not a good idea?!?!

NOT AT ALL! Just that you should eat an hour before exercise and within 15 minutes after finishing. Though, you can throw peanut butter on that pizza for protein 🙂
