Taping My Achilles October 21, 2009

I took a rest day as a result of my minor Achilles tendonitis. After much icing, massage, and stretching, I’m feeling much better than yesterday and even pain free. The only remaining symptom is slight stiffness. I would ideally like to do a small 2 or 3 mile run tomorrow to get ready for Friday’s Nike Human Race, but we’ll see. I don’t want to over-extend myself and run the risk of a bigger injury. Regardless of if I feel 100% for Friday, I’m planning on trying to tape my Achilles.
