Distance: 6.1 miles
Time: 53:43
Pace: 8:48 mile

I’m back on the LA Roadrunner schedule, which called for a 6 mile run today. So two 10k’s in one weekend.

I was feeling a bit sore most of yesterday and my legs were pretty tired. But, the whole idea of marathon training is to run when you’re tired so your muscles can withstand the full 26.2 miles, so I knew I had to run today. The first mile was pretty tough, actually; my thighs weren’t very limber and my hips were tight. But once I hit mile two, I found my groove and was able to finish out the run feeling pretty good.

Then, my wife and I made breakfast. Some awesome gluten-free waffles and Trader Joe’s chicken sausage.
