Seems like all of America is in a weather alert, lately. Yasmin over at Pretty Little Steps has rain over on the East coast and A Marathoner is also facing rain. Here, in Los Angeles, we’re dealing with wind. Not just a small gust here and there—no, this is serious, leaf-blowing, tree-moving, car-shaking wind. There are palm fronds and tree branches on the ground and I even saw a car almost get demolished by some falling debris. It’s an impressive display of Mother Nature.

It made for a terrible run, though. Not only was I running against the wind in every direction—Can’t. Escape. It.—, but particles and dust were flying in my eyes the whole time. Not fun. Otherwise, all other aspects of the run were good.

No photos, but it’s kind of like this:

Running in the wind is the most painful thing EVER. Especially when you’re going up a hill AND it’s windy. Makes me want to cry.
