Distance: 8.13 miles
Time: 67:41
Pace: 8:20 mile

Headed out early to get an 8 mile run in today. It always takes me awhile to get going on Tuesdays after a day off and today was no different. I was tired and lethargic for the first mile and my legs were a still a bit tight. After I hit about mile 3, though, I was smooth sailing.

I need to figure out how to prevent this, especially come marathon day. Since we’ll have 2-3 days off before the race, I need to somehow stay loose and energized. Though I’m sure the burst of adrenaline at the starting line will help.

I ran down Georgina Ave. in Santa Monica again today because I wanted to gaze upon the amazing homes. What do I have to do to afford a place like these homes? Cuz I’ll do it.

I can relate. When I start running, I don’t feel too well until I’ve run about 30 minutes. Then I feel great!

Good question. How do they do it? I would settle for any house north of Montana Ave. In the meantime, I guess I’m stuck in Culver City.

**Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving**
See you in two weeks.
